brady's bakery was born in 2015 in los angeles as a part-time hobby for reece scelfo. a natural sweet tooth, reece wanted to find a way to infuse his creativity with his love of desserts...

one day reece decided to play hookie from his 9-5 hollywood gig and bake a cake from scratch. using only a fork and a cereal bowl he made his favorite cake: red velvet with cream cheese frosting. it tasted pretty terrible, but reece fell in love with the baking process and started practicing every weekend. endless months of trial and error later, cakes turned to cupcakes turned to cookies, and reece found a way to contribute his own spin on what an indulgent dessert could be... 

operations continued out of reece's home, until 2020 when brady's opened up their first commercial space right across from USC, just south of downtown los angeles. the menu has expanded to include bread pudding, cookie dough, and other seasonal faves. our team continues to grow, and we're proud to partner with local and regional coffee shops, cafes, and other retailers. 

no matter what, we bake what we like to eat, which is why we're adventurous with our flavors and ingredients. our imagination is endless and we constantly add to our growing menu.
