brady's bakery was born in 2015 in los angeles as a part-time hobby for reece scelfo. a natural sweet tooth, reece wanted to find a way to infuse his creativity with his love of desserts. 

on a whim, and after calling in sick to his day gig at a major hollywood production company, reece decided to bake his fave cake from scratch. using only a fork and a cereal bowl he made a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. it tasted pretty terrible, but reece fell in love with the baking process and started practicing every weekend. endless months of trial and error later, cakes turned to cupcakes turned to cookies, and reece discovered his own spin on an indulgent dessert.

operations continued out of reece's home through march 2020, when brady's transferred to their first commercial space in south central los angeles. the menu expanded to include bread pudding and other seasonal faves, and the team grew from 2 bakers to 8 full time bakers. we are also proud to partner with a handful of local retail shops to distribute our cookies. what's next? stay tuned... 

our truth is simple: we bake what we like to eat. we're adventurous with our flavors and ingredients and our imagination is endless. we hope you enjoy.

oh, and most importantly, we're named after reece's adorable pet boxer brady.
